Love is some hard "heart" work that seems to come easire for a child. In their innocence, they are most vulnerable, they are most dependent, they are fragile and learning. They are trusting and in need of all supports, especially love and touch. Their communication is of course infantile. Their tears, cries and alarm sounding screams are very effective, and some times heart breaking when we know they are in pain. Their pure love and expectancy tend to bring the best out of us. We are patcient, and attentative. We prioritize their needs because we are responsible for their very survival. This little bundle of joy is a tiny human. Full of personality, full of emotions and full of purpose. They are LOVE.
